The Weather

Weather unfortunately can be a stressful thing when it comes to weddings. We never know what Mother Nature will decide to bring when we pick a date for an event a year away. With that being said it is hard to prepare but there are a few things you can do to ensure the day runs smoothly no matter the weather. If your wedding ceremony is inside and so is your reception then weather probably won’t be a concern for you…but if you are getting married outside, I first would recommend talking with your venue or property owner, to see if there are alternative options for weather like rain, storms, or cold temperatures. As for summer weddings it may be appropriate to see if the venue has umbrellas readily available for you and your guests or have some on hand yourself just in case. And as for fall and winter weddings, it is always a fun and cute idea to have a basket of blankets for you and your guests. On top of that it can be nice to have some portable heaters around any date during those cold months. It’s never a bad idea to be overly prepared when it comes to the weather on wedding day and make sure to be checking the forecast as your day arrives.
