The Music

The music, the fuel to the celebration. If you were to spend a little extra on anything beside food, I would say go with the DJ. Music is an essential to your wedding reception. After dinner, your guests want to celebrate and dance with you. Although, in order for guests to want to dance there has to be good music. If you decide you want to go a little cheaper on the DJ at least do this to save yourself possible disappointment. Have you, your wedding party, or even some guests submit a song or two to create a list of recommendations pre-dance reception. Believe it or not, I have had bridal parties or couples come up to me as venue staff asking if I have song recommendations because they aren’t happy with the music. Bad music can dull down a party real fast, so make sure you prepare yourself, so you can dance the night away.
